Soggy LA

The view from my window of the harsh winter weather in LA

The winters in LA are my favorite time of year. The relentless sunshine takes a break, and we get some rain. The vegetation turns lush and green, and the air is noticeably cleaner…for a little while.

While the rest of the world deals with closed airports and icy streets, the earth is finally getting a nice drink here in Los Angeles.

  1. It is really amazing how different parts of the same country can be. Winter time in Kentucky is anything from lush and green. The leaves are gone, leaving the barren trees gray. The grassis brown and, if it rains, often muddy. Now I don’t mean to say that I don’t love living here. I grew up here. It is the only winter I have ever known, but lush as green does not describe it.

    Thanks sharing your world.
