Books on Vinyl

I think they just might be onto something. Underwood creates stories in sound. No, it’s not on an iPod. It’s not on an iPhone or any kind of computer, which is why it seems to exotic and beautiful. Underwood puts stories on vinyl records and creates beautiful artwork to accompany them.

According to the web site:

Underwood is a twice-yearly publication produced as a vinyl LP featuring two writers. The journal appears in May and November each year and is a limited edition. Born out of a love for short stories and vinyl records, Underwood works with writers to produce a unique recording.

And, yes, the name Underwood refers to the typewriter. Nice.
