The Missing Link

After looking at Allen Ginsberg’s photos, I thought something looked familiar. I guess Ed Templeton is a fan. Does he realize his B&W photos with the script running underneath them look exactly like ones made 50 years ago? It’s interesting because Ginsberg was a gay beatnik poet and Templeton has a foot in the skate world and another foot in the art world. Ginsberg photographed writers like Jack Kerouac (pictured below) and William S. Burroughs and Templeton documents youth in Orange County, CA. Maybe they have more in common than I thought…
