The Missing Link

After looking at Allen Ginsberg’s photos, I thought something looked familiar. I guess Ed Templeton is a fan. Does he realize his B&W photos with the script running underneath them look exactly like ones made 50 years ago? It’s interesting because Ginsberg was a gay beatnik poet and Templeton has a foot in the skate world and another foot in the art world. Ginsberg photographed writers like Jack¬†Kerouac (pictured below)¬†and William S. Burroughs and Templeton documents youth in Orange County, CA. Maybe they have more in common than I thought…
